We’re kicking off May with exciting work in progress and growth in our community. Several tests are ongoing; enhancements are underway; marketing initiatives were successful; and we’re expanding our team, too. We’re keen to tell you more, so let’s dive right in.
Debit Card Testing with Select Ka.app Users
Some of our Kastians are testing the Ka. Debit Card in real-world scenarios, and we’ve been getting tons of positive reviews so far! At the moment, we’re still conducting the necessary optimizations to ensure the card experience is of the highest quality before its official release.
We’re excited for the official roll out as the card will make it easier for you to spend crypto (online and in physical stores). Whether you’re buying a cup of coffee, booking a trip, dining out with friends, buying your groceries, or grabbing a gift for someone you love, the Ka. Debit Card will be your reliable companion.

Card Top Up Testing
The flow for topping up your wallet with a debit/credit card is done, and it’s going through internal testing. This will make adding euros (EUR) to your Ka.app account much quicker and more convenient compared to doing a bank transfer.
As mentioned in our Q1 progress update, at the moment, you can add EUR into your wallet by depositing EUR via IBAN or depositing crypto from an external wallet and then converting to EUR. We’ll keep you posted for more updates.
Google Login & Signup
We’re still refining the Google account login and signup flow with additional tests to ensure that you can access our web app much more efficiently. As previously mentioned, this will remove the need to manually input a user’s email address and password when signing up or logging in on Ka.app.
Website Optimization
Our website is going through a series of enhancements to improve user experience, boost conversion rates, provide as much value as possible to our users, and align our content with our audience’s interests and preferences.
Continuous research, A/B tests, data gathering, and analyses are ongoing for full-scale optimization.
Application Component Enhancements
We’re continuing to make improvements to the set of components that we used in our web app without altering its external behavior. This will enhance the consistency in how our components operate and appear across Ka.app, which can improve user experience by making it more predictable and easier to navigate. It can also streamline the development process by reducing redundancy and simplifying maintenance tasks.
Team Expansion

$500 Bitcoin Halving Giveaway
Did you join our Bitcoin (BTC) halving giveaway? It successfully ran from April 19-25, 2024, with a lot of participants who converted a minimum of $10 worth of any currency in the app to BTC. One lucky winner received $500 worth of BTC in their wallet, so if that’s you, congratulations!

Telegram AMA with $250 Prize Pool
Our Telegram Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Marketing Manager Mathieu Sylvain was another hit! It was held on April 25, 2024, with over 500 questions submitted. We gave away $250 worth of KASTA tokens, split between five participants.
